WELCOME TO THE YWCPA FOUNDATION
We provide funds to the Young Women's College Preparatory Academy in Houston. These funds help ensure the quality of the YWCPA education is preserved and protected, that academic, athletic and extracurricular programs are enhanced to benefit all YWCPA students, and that S.T.E.M.-rich activities and field lessons are made readily available to all YWCPA students.
Energy Club
Focuses on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activities that include robotics, SECME engineering challenges, Energy City of the Future Competition, 3D design, computer applications & programming and eTextiles.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society celebrates scholarship, citizenship, character, service, and leadership for students at Young Women's College Preparatory Academy.
Debate Team
The YWCPA supports Young Women Debate Team. In past years, students were able to meet with the legendary debate coach at Texas Southern University, Dr. Freeman.
Fine Arts
Students are introduced to the arts through dance and cheer or choir.
